May 2016 - What's New in Advisor CRM
To provide compatibility with Windows 10 and Office 2016, Advisor CRM will be integrated with Microsoft CRM 2016 in the coming months.
Don't upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 for Microsoft Office Outlook until your Tamarac Service Team communicates with you. They will notify you when the Advisor CRM upgrade will occur and will assist you during the process. It's important to upgrade only at that time so that you will not lose your current functionality.
If you have any additional questions, you can always reach out to your dedicated Service Team by emailing Tamaracsupport@envestnet.com.
The Advisor CRM Support & Training Center will be refreshed with all new content when the integration becomes available. Some of the key features you'll see with this upgrade are introduced below.
The CRM 2016 mobile app provides you with a more powerful and visually appealing user interface that will increase your efficiency when you're out of the office. We think you'll appreciate being able to create, change, and delete records while you're offline. You'll also be able to link to other mobile apps—for instance, you'll be able to email or call a client by clicking on their email address or phone number to open the appropriate app on your phone.
This summer, after you've been upgraded to Advisor CRM 2016, you can download and install the updated mobile version by searching for Dynamics CRM for Phones in your phone's app store.

The navigation bar updates make it faster and easier to complete your tasks since you'll be able to see all your options on one screen. You won't need to scroll across the page to find an entity—now you'll be able to simply point and click.
You can find a wider range of results with the new global search option at the top of the Home page. From a single search, you can see different types of client information and take action on each appropriate record. You may see search results for any of the following entities:
Accounts
Contacts
Leads
Activities
Financial Accounts
Opportunities
Families
You can now see a global list of recently viewed items from the main menu bar. This option makes it easy to return to a previous task or see which records you've already viewed.
Next to each page title, you'll have a menu option that allows you to jump directly to any section on the page—for long pages, this allows you to navigate more quickly.
You will be able to focus on the activities that interest you in the Social Pane, without having to scroll through unrelated information. The new filters will allow you to choose the activity types you want to focus on.
In order to incorporate the latest features of modern Web browsers, we'll be discontinuing support for Internet Explorer 10 in July 2016.
Please take the time to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11 or later and ask your clients to do the same. We are committed to improving the products and services we offer, and we want you to get the most out of the new functionality we are developing.
If you are using Internet Explorer 10, you may find that your client portals and some areas of Advisor CRM no longer work properly after July. If you have any questions, please contact your Tamarac service team.
