Introduction

Important

This is only available if your firm has been migrated to Dynamics 365 (Online).

Depending on your permissions in CRM, you may or may not have access to reset your own password or a password for another User.

What the App Offers

What Do You Need to Do to Use the App?

  1. Be sure all prerequisites and requirements are met.

  2. Set up Server-Synchronization.

  3. Install the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

  4. Uninstall the Dynamics 365 Outlook client (only if you currently have it on your computer)

Server-Side Synchronization

Once system requirements are met, your IT can set up sever-side synchronization. Detailed information is provided in the links below.

What can Server-Side Synchronization Do?

  • Drag email to a folder mapped to a Dynamics 365 record to track

  • Works on any mobile devices that supports Microsoft Exchange

  • Track up to 25 folders per user account

  • Do not need Outlook open to synchronize

  • Works with Webmail, Outlook, Mobile & Tablet

Deploying Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

After setting up server-side synchronization & setting the required privileges, the App can be pushed to users or users can do this on their own.
