Prevent and Clean Up Duplicate Data

Whenever you create or upload data in Tamarac CRM, there's always a risk of accidentally duplicating some of your accounts, contacts, or leads, and ending up with conflicting or incomplete records. You can easily stay confident about the integrity of your data by running a Duplicate Detection job and then merging or deleting any duplicates that are found.

You can also prevent duplication during uploads, get a warning if you start to create a record that would become a duplicate, and have an automatic check run when you go online with Tamarac CRM for Outlook.

In order to use any of these processes, you'll need a Duplicate Detection rule that is turned on. It just takes a few minutes to run a Duplicate Detection job and if the rule is not yet turned on or published, your Data Manager can generally do that for you quickly and easily.
