Complete the Security Data Requirements for Amortization and Accretion

Introduction

To calculate amortization, Tamarac Reporting requires you to complete the fields used in the calculation. The fields are:

• Maturity date

• Interest rate

• Income frequency

• Accrual method

• Amortize or Accrete to

  • If Amortize or Accrete to is set to Call: Call Date/Call Price

  • If Amortize or Accrete to is set to Pre-refund: Pre-Refund Date

Complete the Security Data Requirements

To complete the security data requirements for the security:

1. On the Setup menu, under Security Settings, click Securities.

2. Click the security where you want to complete the required security data.

3. On the General tab of the Edit Security dialog, complete the necessary fields.

   

4. Click Save.
