Quickly Enter Account Keywords

As the accounts in your system grow in number, we wanted to make it easier to find the account you want to view.  That's why we've made it simple for you to assign keywords to your accounts.  Now, when you add keywords to an account, all keywords you've previously entered on any of your accounts will appear in a selectable list.

To view this feature, follow these steps:

  1. On the Accounts menu, click Account Settings.

  2. In the Type account name or number box, type your search term and then click Select.

  3. Click the Account Configuration tab.

  4. In the Account Keywords box, start typing the keyword you want to add to the account.  When you see the keyword in the list, click it and then click Save.

Action Column Shading

We've improved our custom rebalancing report by adding shading to the action column.  With this feature, you can quickly determine which securities were purchased and which securities were sold.  Securities selected for "buy" will appear in a green font and securities selected for "sell" will appear in a red font.

To check out this feature, follow these steps:

  1. On the Reports menu, click Client Reporting.

  2. Under Rebalance Summary Templates, click the report you want to modify and then click Edit.

  3. Click the + in the Rebalance Summary section to expand the details of the report.

  4. In the Summary Details sub-section, select the Shade Action Column check box.

  5. Click Save.  The next time you run the Rebalance Summary report, you'll see the new action column shading.

Customizable Left and Right Chart Titles

We've added the ability for you to customize the left and right chart titles of your custom Rebalance Summary reports.

To edit the left and right chart titles of your custom Rebalancing Summary report, follow these steps:

  1. On the Reports menu, click Client Reporting.

  2. Under Rebalance Summary Templates, click the report you want to modify and then click Edit.

  3. Click the + in the Rebalance Summary Title section to expand the details of the report.

  4. In the Header sub-section, type the titles you want to appear above the pie charts in the Left and Right Pie Chart Title boxes.

  5. After you've specified the titles of your charts, click Save.  When you run the report, you'll see the titles you entered.

Actual Model Percentage Report Column

Many of you have asked for a way to see the actual model percentage on your Rebalance Summary reports.  We've listened to your requests and have made it easy for you to add the actual model percentage column to the report in a few simple steps.

Note

Advisor Rebalancing calculates the actual model percentages for securities in Allocation models by multiplying the goal percentage of the Security Level model in the Allocation model by the goal percentage of the security in the Security Level model.

To add the actual model percentage column to a report, follow these steps:

  1. On the Reports menu, click Client Reporting.

  2. Under Rebalance Summary Templates, click the report you want to modify and then click Edit.

  3. Click the + in the Rebalance Summary Title section to expand the details of the report.

  4. In the Content list in the Summary Details sub-section, click Summary Details.

  5. In the Available Columns box, click Actual Model (%) and then click the > to add the column to your report.

  6. After you've added the Actual Model (%) to your report, click Save.  The next time you run the report, you'll see actual model percentage column.

Additional Program Enhancements

We've made some additional changes to make Advisor Rebalancing easier to use.  While these changes aren't as powerful as most of the new features we've added, they're certainly worth mentioning.

Additional Warning Message

Advisor Rebalancing will now let you know if saving an account will remove it from the Rebalance Review or Trade List.

As-Of Date Update

When you run your client reports, the "as-of” date will reflect the date of the last trade as opposed to the current calendar date.

Mutual Fund Shares Client Reporting Enhancement

Mutual fund shares on your rebalancing reports will appear in dollars and shares.  Before this release, mutual fund shares appeared as "0” on the report.
