Include Positions With No Snapshot History
Applies to: | ||
---|---|---|
✔ Dynamic |
✔ Client Portal |
This setting allows you to choose whether to include or exclude committed capital positions that have no transaction history on the Committed Capital report. This allows you to see all the committed capital securities in an account or group, regardless of transaction history.
For example, you have a client who you know will have committed capital transactions in the future, but they haven't started making contributions yet. You've created a committed capital security to reflect the future contributions, but haven't added snapshots yet since there are no transactions to record.
By default, this setting is selected.
When you clear Include positions with no snapshot history, those positions are excluded from the calculation and the total row changes accordingly.
To include committed capital securities with no transaction history, select Include positions with no snapshot history.
In this example, this account includes two committed capital securities, but only one has manual security snapshots that add transaction history for the security. With Include positions with no snapshot history selected, the report includes both securities, including the one that has no manual security snapshots.
To exclude committed capital securities with no transaction history, clear Include positions with no snapshot history.
In this example, this account includes two committed capital securities, but only one has manual security snapshots that add transaction history for the security. With Include positions with no snapshot history cleared, the report includes only the security with manual security snapshots.
Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.
