How Include Return of Principal Payments Works

This setting allows you to include or exclude return of principal payments on the Income and Expenses report.

In Dynamic Reports

• To include return of principal payments, select the check box. It is selected by default.

  In this example, a link to data for short-term capital gains distributions is added, and clicking the link displays short-term capital gains data.

  

• To exclude return of principal payments, clear the check box.

  In this example, the link to short-term capital gains is removed, and income excludes short-term capital gains.

  

In the example shown, short-term capital gains are included or excluded, but Include Return of Principal Payments works the same way.

In PDF Reports

Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.
