Round Trip Period

Round Trip Period lets you specify the number of days you'd like as a round trip for the selected security for the selected trade file group. The round trip period restriction prevents a buy after a sell for the number of days you specify. This allows you to limit round trip trading as set by policies from custodians and fund companies.

You can enter a round trip period of up to 180 days. Tamarac Trading determines the last sale of the security and, if a sale has occurred within the round trip period, a buy will not be recommended for that security until after that time period has expired.
