Use For ADV

The Use For ADV setting lets you select a category type to use for asset reporting on the Compliance ADV report. This lets you choose the category and category types that you'll use on the Compliance ADV report to answer questions on Form ADV about the types of assets held in your clients' portfolios.

Example

You select Asset Class as the category type you're going to use by selecting Use For ADV. Asset Class is made up of the categories Large-Cap Equities, Mid-Cap Equities, Small-Cap Equities, and so on.

Now, on the Compliance ADV report, these categories can be seen on the Holdings by Asset Class widget.
