Introduction

To streamline your workflows between Tamarac and iCapital, Tamarac provides single sign-on access to the iCapital Alternative Investments Marketplace. The SSO connects your Tamarac platform to the iCapital platform, where you can streamline tasks like onboarding, investment execution, reporting, and data management within your existing tools.

With this integration, you can access to the following through iCapital:

• Private market investments, hedge funds, defined outcome solutions, and other alternative products.

• Independent investment research and operational due diligence on investments offered through iCapital.

• Educational materials about the broader alternative investment universe.

• Structured solutions offerings.

• And more.

Enablement

Before you can access single sign-on (SSO) or use a snapshot-based data feed from iCapital in Tamarac Reporting, contact Tamarac Account Management. For details about how to set up the data feed, see Workflow: Set up data feed for alternative investments in Tamarac.

There is a one-time fee to set up the iCapital data feed for your firm.

There is no cost to configure the SSO.

Use iCapital data in Tamarac Reporting

When managing client assets, you need a complete view of all your clients' securities in Tamarac, regardless of where the assets are held. The iCapital integration brings alternative investment data into Tamarac alongside your standard custodian feeds for more complete, detailed reporting.

When configured, the data feed from iCapital creates and automatically updates manual security snapshots in Tamarac, allowing you to include alternative investments in your standard reporting package.

Access iCapital from Tamarac

To open iCapital from the Tamarac platform, under your user profile, select iCapital Alternative Investments. You’ll only see this option when the feature is enabled.

The first time you launch, establish the link between Tamarac and iCapital:

• If you are a new member, follow the steps to complete the registration process.

• If you are an existing member, the iCapital Marketplace opens directly.

After you complete the setup, Tamarac remembers your iCapital credentials. You won't have to enter your them the next time you open iCapital Marketplace from Tamarac.
