Introduction

The integration between Tamarac CRM and Schwab allows you to retrieve real time custody data and custom workflows from Schwab. This integration uses Single Sign On (SSO) to access this data. The data manager at your firm can enable this integration or you can contact your service team for additional guidance. Once enabled, you will see Schwab in the Custodians drop down on the command bar in Accounts.

Access Schwab from Tamarac CRM

You can access the integration by selecting Schwab under Custodians from the command bar in Tamarac CRM.

After you select Schwab, you will be prompted to select Single Sign-On.

After you select Single Sign-On, a new browser tab will open, where you will be prompted to enter your dual factor authentication code.

After you enter the code and you are verified by Schwab, you be directed to the Alerts page for Schwab.

Enable Schwab SSO Integration

The admin user for your firm can access the custodian configurations by selecting Configurations under the Setup menu. You must enable or disable the Schwab integration for all users at your firm. Additionally, you can only enable access to custodian data for clients who already have access enabled at Schwab.

To enable the Schwab integration:

  1. Select Home and Tamarac Settings.
  2. Under Setup, select Configurations and Configuration Settings.
  3. Under Custodians, select Schwab.
  4. Under General, turn on the Integration Status and the Status toggle for Single Sign-On.
  5. Select Save or Save & Close.

IMPORTANT Note

By default, the Schwab SSO integration is disabled.
