Exclude an Account From Net Worth

Introduction

In some cases, you may want to exclude an account or group in a Household from net worth calculations. For example, a child's parents may want to receive information about the child's trust account, so you'd want to include the account in the Household, but you'd exclude it from the net worth calculations since the account doesn't contribute towards the parents' financial goals.

This page provides steps for how to exclude an account or group from net worth calculations.

Exclude an Account or Group from Net Worth Calculations

To exclude an account or group from net worth calculations, follow these steps:

1. On the Accounts menu, click Households.

2. Click the name of the Household that contains the account you want to exclude from net worth calculations.

   

3. On the Membership tab, click Direct Members.

4. Clear the Include in Net Worth check box for the desired account or group.

   

5. Click Save.
