FIX Flyer Integration Now Available for Tamarac Trading Unrealized Gain/Loss Data Now Always Available on the Rebalance Summary |
Tamarac is pleased to announce that our new integration with FIX Flyer, a company that develops technology for institutional securities trading, is now available. This partnership offers a seamless trading experience within the Tamarac Trading platform and allows you to generate trades and send them to FIX Flyer in a few clicks. When enabled, the FIX Flyer integration offers these benefits:
Equity, ETF, and mutual fund trading within a single workflow.
Trading with multiple custodians and brokers through a centralized system.
Status updates to show you real-time information about your trades.
User permissions and account settings in Tamarac Trading that allow you to control who completes trades and how individual accounts are traded.
Additional paperwork is needed to enable this integration with your firm, and Tamarac can work with you during the setup and configuration process to ensure a smooth transition. Before this release, the Rebalance Summary showed realized and unrealized gain and loss data based on the rebalance state of the account. Before a rebalance, the Rebalance Summary showed the Unrealized Gain/Loss column and after a rebalance, it showed Realized Gain/Loss. This could cause frustration for clients who wanted to see unrealized gain or loss data after a rebalance or after generating a custom strategy.
Now, when viewing the Rebalance Summary, you'll see columns for both realized and unrealized gains and losses, regardless of whether or not you've run a rebalance or generated a custom strategy on the account. Before a rebalance, Realized Gain/Loss will be $0. However, now you'll be able to see Unrealized Gain/Loss data at any time.
