Allow Short Term Gains (Directed Trades)
When creating or editing a directed trade, Allow short term gains lets you choose whether or not you'd like Tamarac Trading to recommend trades that will generate short-term gains. Within individual accounts, you have the option to allow or prevent trades with short-term gains using Allow Short Term Gains. However, Allow short term gains in directed trades will override this setting unless you choose Use Account Setting.
You can choose one of the following options:
Yes: All trades generated that create short term gains will be allowed, regardless of whether an account allows short-term gains or not.
No: Trades that generate short term gains won't be allowed, regardless of whether an account allows short-term gains or not.
Use Account Setting: Trades created in accounts that allow short term gains will be allowed to make trades that generate short term gains, but won't be allowed in accounts that do not allow short-term gains.
