Linked Account
A held-away asset, liability, or account that has been aggregated in Tamarac.
Through Yodlee, Tamarac offers three types of linked accounts:
Reconciled Accounts.Use a client's credentials to link their external investment accounts or upgrade existing balance-only accounts to get full reconciled data for those accounts. See reconciled accounts on the Accounts page, add them to reporting groups and Households so they are included them in dynamic and PDF performance, transaction, and holdings reports, and include them on the client portal.
Advisor Permissioned Data Accounts.Use your advisor credentials to bring in all the accounts you manage at any custodian that isn't included in your normal Tamarac data feed. These advisor permissioned data (APD) accounts initially link as balance-only to keep an excessive number of reconciled accounts from being created automatically, but you can convert them to reconciled accounts for full reporting.
Balance-Only Accounts.Use a client's credentials to bring in the daily value for assets and liabilities like their checking and savings accounts, student loans, real estate, credit card balances, mortgages, and more. You and your clients can see these assets and liabilities on the Net Worth report as Other Assets or Liabilities. Some balance-only investment accounts can be converted to reconciled accounts for full reporting.
