Preset Column Filter
Use this Aggregated Accounts page view setting to preset filters for columns included in the view. When you load the view, the page will be filtered automatically based on the preset column filter settings. You will see only data that meet the preset filter criteria. Presetting filters doesn't stop you from adjusting those filters or other column filters on the fly when you're using the page.
When you apply a view with preset filters, clicking on the Aggregated Accounts page clears all filters, including the preset filters. Clicking resets the filters back to the original view presets.
For example, you want a view that shows any linked accounts that are in process or have linking issues for a particular custodian.
You create a view that filters the Link Status column to only show desired statuses and the Custodian column to show only the custodian you're interested in.
When you apply the view, the page displays results automatically filtered based on the preset filters.
Available filters depend on the data type displayed in the column:
Filter the page by the text you type in the column filter. Type in one or more letters to see only accounts that contain those letters. This filter displays accounts with the letters or words anywhere in the name. For example, if you filter for ab, you'll see accounts named Revocable as well as Abbey.
This filter also applies to number ranges. Type in one or more numbers to see only account numbers that contain the value entered. For example, if you filter for 999, you'll see accounts numbered 12399945 as well as 999-1234.
Select any options to filter the page to only contain the selected values.
(Select All) selects all the check boxes.
Filter the page to only contain the date range you specify in this filter.
Use the filter on values columns to see only accounts between a minimum and a maximum value that you choose. For example, find accounts with values between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000.
