Use Billing Inception Date or Custom Billing Period

This setting allows you to choose a billing period for each account assigned to the group.

You can choose:

• Use billing inception date. Select this option if you want to set the billing start date as the date that the account was created. The billing inception date is determined by the billing inception date specified in your portfolio accounting system.

• Use custom billing period. This setting allows you to set the billing period. We recommend that you leave Billing Period set to Use billing inception date.

  

  • To set the billing period from inception to today, choose Use billing inception date.

  • To define a custom billing date range, choose Custom billing period and use the calendar to enter the start and end dates.

    If you select the Custom billing period and enter an end date but not a beginning date, the inception date will be used as the custom period's start date.

    If you select the Custom billing period and enter a beginning date but not an end date, the billing period will extend through today.
