Introduction
Use the default Trade Ticket service request in Tamarac CRM to request manual trade activity for an account.
After you submit the service request, Tamarac CRM creates a Trade Ticket task and assigns it to the selected owner.
This article covers steps to submit the default Trade Ticket service request.
Note
If your firm customized the default service request configuration, the fields available in Trade Ticket may differ.
Submit the service request
To submit the Trade Ticket service request:

From the command bar of an account, select Service Request.

Select Trade Ticket.

Complete the required * and optional fields to provide as much detail as necessary for the request. For general steps to enter service request details, see Submit a service request.
Field Instructions Considerations Financial Account* Select the account associated with the trade request. Trade Ticket Type* Select whether the request is a General or Equity trade. The selected value determines which additional fields appear.
Trade Details* Enter details describing the requested trade. This field appears only when Trade Ticket Type is General.
Trade Action* Select whether to buy or sell the security. This field appears only when Trade Ticket Type is Equity.
Security Symbol* Enter the ticker symbol for the security. This field appears only when Trade Ticket Type is Equity.
Number of Shares Enter the number of shares to trade. This field appears only when Trade Ticket Type is Equity.
Order Type* Select the type of order to place, such as Market, Limit, or Stop Limit. This field appears only when Trade Ticket Type is Equity.
Limit Price Enter the limit price for the order. This field appears only when Order Type is Limit or Stop Limit.
Additional Instructions Enter details about the requested trade. These details will display in the tasks for the assignees.
Priority Select a priority level that reflects the urgency of the request:

Normal

Service Request Task Owner* Select the user or team responsible for completing the request. The selected user or team receives the generated Trade Ticket task.
Send Notification To Select any additional user who should be notified about this request. The selected recipient receives an email notification after submission.

After you enter all necessary service request information, select Save and Close to submit the service request.
