February 2023 - What's New in Tamarac Reporting
New Columns in the Committed Capital Report Add Vintage Year to Available Group by Options in the Committed Capital Report |
Last Valuation Value
When we receive transaction details and the value of a manual security is unknown, Tamarac Reporting's calculates Current Value based on the last valuation and any subsequent flows. We heard your feedback that you wanted to know that value as of the last valuation date, and with this release, you can include Last Valuation Value in the Committed Capital report. You can include this in addition to the already available Last Valuation Date and Current Value fields.
When you move Last Valuation Value to the Selected columns field, you will also be able to use a custom formatted name. For more information, see Committed Capital report.
Recallable Distributions
As a part of the December release, we gave you the ability to add recallable distribution amounts to your manual security snapshots. With this release, we've added Recallable Distributions as another column you can add to this report.
You can see these changes when you create or update any instance of the Committed Capital report. For details, see Committed Capital report.
As an advisor, it’s important that your clients have an organized view of the details in the Committed Capital report. In this release, we are including the ability for clients to group the Committed Capital report by Vintage Year.
In the past, you had to create a new category type and call it Vintage Year. Now, the Vintage Year will automatically populate with the year entered in the Fund Inception Date field.
These reports will reflect the new columns:
Because of a recent SEC 13F report format change, we added a column called FIGI. This column is required to submit your 13F report using the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) site. To ensure your report contains all the required data, add this column to your existing 13F bulk report template before submitting your next 13F report. For details, see Create, Edit, or Delete a Bulk Report.
