Copy a PDF Template

 

Introduction

PDF reports are fully configurable static reports designed to be printed or shared as a PDF file. They allow you to create professional, branded financial statements to distribute to your clients by mail or through the client portal.

PDF reports are generated based on templates your firm builds. If you want to make some changes to a shared template, but you're not an administrator, you can copy the shared template and save it as a new template with your settings.

Copy a PDF Template

To copy a PDF report template:

  1. From the Client Reporting menu, click Templates.

  2. In the Select Template list, select the template you want to copy.

  3. In the Template name field, type a new name.

  4. Click Save as New. If you selected Mark as publicly accessible before clicking Save as New, it will be cleared and you will need to select it again. This reset occurs for any report when you Save As New.

  5. Make your desired changes.

  6. Click Save. The new template will be added to your Select Template list.
