Introducing the redesigned Allocation Models page

What's changing

We've refreshed the Allocation Models page in Tamarac Trading with a modern interface. The updated experience aligns with the platform's broader modernization efforts, providing a more consistent and intuitive user experience across trading workflows.

Why you'd use it

The Allocation Models page makeover modernizes your model management experience with:

• Simplified navigation.

• Streamlined model creation and editing.

• Improved model discovery with search.

• Consolidated key model management tasks.

How to get started

The redesigned page will be available automatically with the release. You can continue managing your allocation models as usual.

Introducing a dedicated rebalancing Restrictions tab

What's changing

We're making trading settings easier to find and manage when you edit an account. Currently, rebalancing preferences, minimum trade size settings, security substitutes, security restrictions, and other trading controls are grouped together in a single area.

With this feature’s release, all security restrictions move to a new Restrictions tab, while general rebalancing settings remain on the existing Rebalance & Trade Settings tab.

This update also introduces a new user role permission for the Restrictions tab. Existing user roles automatically receive the appropriate level of access based on their current Rebalance & Trade Settings permissions. No permissions are added or removed. For example, users with View Only access to Rebalance & Trade Settings today will automatically have View Only access to the new Restrictions tab.

Why you'd use it

As firms adopt more account-level trading controls, we’re separating security restrictions from rebalancing preferences to make settings easier to manage. The new layout simplifies account maintenance, reduces time spent searching for settings, and supports future enhancements, including partially unmanaged security restrictions.

How to get started

No action is required. When the feature is released, the new tab structure will automatically appear based on your existing permissions. Use the Rebalance & Trade Settings and Restrictions tabs to manage rebalancing preferences and security restrictions separately.
