Use this report setting to designate what date data points the dynamic, PDF, and PDF dashboard Net Worth report bar chart displays. Unlike the table, you can only sort the bar chart by date using the same or different dates as on the table. The chart displays dates chronologically no matter what order they appear on in the table.
Use Report Dates/Use Table Dates Below. To match chart date periods with the table date periods, select Use report dates (dynamic) or Use table dates below (PDF). When you select this option, dates will always be reported with the oldest date on the left and the most recent date on the right, regardless of the order displayed in the chart. Most users match the chart dates with the table dates.
For example, with this option selected, the chart dates will automatically be set to match the dates set for the Net Worth report table under Columns/Show Values On.
Select Specific Dates. This is the default setting. To display different date periods on the chart than on the table, select Select specific dates and choose the desired dates from the Show Values On lists.
When you Select specific dates, the chart dates are decoupled from the table dates. The dates and number of data points on the chart do not automatically match the table date settings.
This setting is available in the Net Worth report when you choose Show Chart.
