Image Resolution

Use this PDF template setting to control the image quality for any charts or graphs displayed in a PDF report. The image resolution setting you choose applies to all templates, dashboards, and child template sections in the report.

You can choose:

Standard Quality (Default)

This option looks good when you zoom in up to 2x.

  • Advisors printing hard copy reports.

  • Advisors generating internal reports that do not need to be shared with investor clients.

  • Investor clients looking at a report on the screen who do not need to zoom in order to read.

  • Fastest PDF generation.

  • Smallest file size.

Professional Quality

This option looks good when you zoom in up to 4x.

  • Investor clients looking at a report on a mobile device.

  • Investor clients looking at a report on the screen who need to zoom in a moderate amount to read.

  • Moderate performance impacts. PDF reports generate as much as 2x slower than PDF templates with Standard quality images.

  • Slightly larger file size.

Presentation Quality

This option looks good when you zoom in up to 8x.

  • Noticeable performance impacts. PDF reports generate as much as 2.5x slower than PDF templates with Standard quality images.
