Reporting Data Type
Use this setting to control what type of data you can add to the Comparative Review PDF report. You can create either a performance-focused report featuring data about account and group returns and flows, or a tax planning-focused report featuring data about fees, gains and losses, dividends and income, and more tax data points.
You can choose:
Performance data. Choose Performance data to create a report focused on returns and performance. This gives you access to settings that control whether the report displays SMA categories or security group categories, whether you report on returns for unmanaged accounts, and an abundance of performance-specific data columns.
For more information about the Comparative Review report, see Comparative Review Report.
Tax planning data. Choose Tax planning data to create a report focused on the kind of information accountants need to complete clients' taxes: fees, dividends, interest, gains, and more. This also gives you access to settings that control how non-taxable accounts show up on the report. For more information, see Include Tax Planning Data for Non-Taxable Accounts.
