Introduction

In order to help streamline your workflows around new account opening, you can send client and Household data from Tamarac to some integrated providers, such as custodians, when you need to start a new form. This page is intended to help you troubleshoot when issues arise with this integration.

Common Error Messages and Resolutions

The following are error messages you may see, along with an explanation and steps to resolve the issue.

An error occurred authenticating with (Integrated Provider). Something went wrong with the integrated provider credentials.
  • Confirm the credentials for the integrated provider were correctly entered.

  • Re-enter the integrated provider credentials.

An error occurred. Please contact Tamarac Support.

 

  • There was an issue with the communication with the integrated provider.

  • Your user does not have permission to use digital account opening.

  • Your user is not enabled for digital account opening with the integrated provider.

  • Contact Tamarac Support to confirm the integration is configured correctly.

  • Contact your integrated provider to confirm that your user has permission to use digital account opening.

  • Schwab OpenView Gateway

  • TD Ameritrade Veo

There was an issue with the data sent to (Integrated Provider). For data requirements, see Start New Forms Troubleshooting.

 

The integrated provider requires specific fields that are not completed in Tamarac.

Ensure that all required fields were completed in Tamarac. See Data Fields Integrated for a list of required and optional fields.

  • Schwab OpenView Gateway

  • TD Ameritrade Veo

Invalid Rep Code. For TD Ameritrade only, the Rep Code entered was invalid. The Rep Code must be three to five characters long, with no special characters. Confirm the Rep Code was correctly entered.
  • TD Ameritrade Veo

(Integrated Provider) does not support exporting more than (X) clients at a time. Please go back and select fewer clients.

 

Some integrated providers limit on how many records can be sent through the Start New Forms integration at one time. The number of records selected exceeds the integrated provider's maximum allowable number.

 

You can send a maximum of the following number of client records for each integrated provider:

  • Fidelity Wealthscape: 1 record

  • Schwab OpenView Gateway: 15 records

  • TD Ameritrade Veo: 1 record

Select fewer client records.

  • TD Ameritrade Veo

Insufficient address information. The mailing address zip code is invalid.

The ZIP code must be only numbers, entered in either of these two formats:

  • 11111

  • 11111-1111

Confirm the ZIP code does not include any letters and that it contains the correct number of digits.
  • Fidelity Wealthscape™

The (State/Province) is not supported by Fidelity Wealthscape™.

Foreign addresses, including addresses in Canada, are not supported. Confirm that the address is in the United States.

Tamarac opens the integrated provider's digital account opening page in a new tab. If you don't see the integrated provider's page open in a new tab, your popup blocker may be enabled.

To allow the new tab to open, ensure that your popup blocker is set to allow popups from Tamarac. Add *.tamaracinc.com to your popup blocker approval list.

TD Ameritrade Veo

If you forgot to turn your popup blocker off before being directed to TD Ameritrade Veo One, you can access the New Account Opening Wizard from the menu.

To access the New Account Opening Wizard:

  1. In the menu, click Account Management.

  2. Click Account Wizard.

  3. Click Open New Account. This opens the Forms Wizard with your Tamarac client data automatically populated.

When you start new custodian forms in Tamarac, Tamarac sends the following data to the custodian:
