Allow Clients to Link Outside Accounts as Assets and Liabilities

Use Allow clients to link outside accounts as assets and liabilities to give clients access to the same Yodlee balance-only account linking workflow you use. Clients can link held-away accounts like 401k accounts, checking accounts, savings accounts, and mortgages. This allows clients to see their held-away accounts in the Tamarac portal without you having to manage client passwords and dual-factor authentication or deal with custody issues.

• When you select this option, clients can click the Add Accounts button on the Assets & Liabilities page to link accounts as well as add manual assets or liabilities. For more information on linking accounts in the client portal, see Link, Edit, or Unlink Accounts on the Client Portal.

  

• When you clear this option, clients will only be able to add manual assets or liabilities. For more information about manual assets and liabilities, see Allow Clients to Manually Add and Edit Assets and Liabilities and Manually Add Assets and Liabilities From the Client Portal.
