Capital Call Dates

Capital Call Dates is a setting assailable for manual securities where you've selected Treat as committed capital security, meaning that Tamarac Reporting will treat the selected security as committed capital.

Here, you can enter each known capital call date, both past and present. When you click Add, the capital call date is added to the list. You can then edit or delete past capital call dates as needed.

Example

Georgia Abbey participates in a REIT that includes $500,000 in committed capital, paid in $100,000 increments annually for five years. To track this REIT, Cherry Street Financial created a manual security called Abbey REIT with capital call dates added for each of these payments.

When a capital call occurs, Georgia transfers $100,000. The firm tracks this transfer with a manual security snapshot, which updates the committed capital security. This transaction is reflected on the Committed Capital report.
