Custom Input Symbol

Custom Input Symbol allows you to map the selected security to an alternate symbol. This can be used to map liquid investments to cash ($$$), map securities to a dummy ticker, or map an unrecognized symbol to an alternate symbol.

• To map into Tamarac, use Custom Input Symbol. This takes symbols from your PAS and tells Tamarac which symbols to use instead.

• To map out of Tamarac, use the Custom output symbol feature under Trade File Group settings. This takes symbols from Tamarac and uses the alternate symbols that you specify on trade files. For more information, see Trade File Group Settings.
