How Include Intra-Group Flows Works

Applies to:

This setting allows you to include or exclude intra-group flows.

Depending on your firm's settings, you may control intra-group flows manually or they may be matched automatically. See Intra-Group Flows for more information.

This setting clears account activity that might be extraneous. Include intra-group flows lets you can view only new investments and money withdrawn, not assets transferred between accounts within a group.

For example, if a contribution was made from a client's taxable account into their Roth IRA, you would see the following on the transactions report:

In PDF Reports

Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.

In Client Portal Reports

An intra-group flow is recognized if the total group outflows match total group inflows for withdrawals and contributions. This setting allows you to include or exclude intra-group flows for client portal reports.
