Percentage Fee (Fee Schedules)

When creating a fee schedule, a percentage fee charges a fee based on a percentage of the total transaction. For example, a custodian may charge a 1% per-transaction fee. When you select Percentage Fee or Flat Fee and Percentage Fee as your Fee Schedule Type, Percentage Fee lets you enter that fee amount.

You can enter up to four decimal places.

If the percentage fee has tiers—for example, the custodian charges a 1% fee for transactions up to $10,000 and a 0.5% fee for transactions over $10,000—the Add Tier button will reveal additional Percentage Fee, Min Fee, and Max Fee fields so you can establish the tiered fee.
