Show Overview
This billing statement setting allows you to add an overview section summarizing billing details. Firms often include an overview for billing groups that have multiple billing definitions as a way of telling apart each billing definition.
When you select Show overview, you can use Available/Selected Rows to designate what billing data you want included.
Tamarac automatically adds a page break before each overview section when you select Show overview. As a result, if a billing group includes multiple billing definitions, the invoice shows each billing definition on its own page.
For example, the Baker Consolidated billing group has two billing definitions: 1% Quarterly and Preferred ETF Rebate. With the overview section included, each billing definition is displayed on its own page.
In some cases, you can use the {Billing Definition Description} merge field to shorten invoices by omitting the overview. For more information, see Shorten Billing Invoices with Merge Fields.
