Use SMA Categories (Report Setting)

This setting allows you to choose whether to use the SMA categories assigned to that account, or to use the classification of the underlying securities within the SMA. If the SMA category and the underlying securities' categories are the same, you will not see any change.
To use the categories assigned to the underlying securities, clear Use SMA categories.
To use the SMA categories assigned in Tamarac, select Use SMA categories.
You might choose to use this option when reporting on allocation, to emphasize what investment choices are yours and what are the SMA manager's.
You can choose:
Selected. Securities held in the SMA accounts are sorted according to the categorization applied to the SMA.
Cleared. Securities held in the SMA accounts are sorted according to their underlying categories.
Functionality is the same in the PDF report templates as in dynamic reports.
