Flat Fee (Fee Schedules)

When creating a fee schedule, a flat fee charges a single dollar amount for each transaction. For example, a custodian may charge a $5 per-transaction fee. When you select Flat Fee or Flat Fee and Percentage Fee as your Fee Schedule Type, Flat Fee lets you enter that fee amount.

If the flat fee has tiers—for example, the custodian charges a $5 fee for transactions up to $10,000 and a $3 fee for transactions over $10,000—the Add Tier button will reveal additional Flat Fee and Dollar Range End fields so you can establish the tiered fee.
