Rebalance Review Page Actions, Views, and Filters
The Rebalance Review page lets you view the results of a rebalance on an account-by-account basis. Each row represents an account, and you can add columns to see rebalance information about that account. You can also take some trading actions, as well as customize your view with additional columns and available filters.
Find the Rebalance Review by clicking Rebalance Review on the Rebalance & Trade menu.
The Rebalance Review allows you to approve trades and place them on hold while also reviewing the effects of recommended trades across accounts and groups.
The Approve Trades option in the Actions list allows you to approve any trades within the accounts you've selected. Additional filtering allows you to see which accounts still need trade approval.
For more information, see Approve Trades.
The Approve Non-Discretionary Trades option in the Actions list allows you to approve non-discretionary trades within the accounts you've selected.
When you approve trades for non-discretionary accounts, you may see a warning message appear. This will require you to add a note before approving the non-discretionary trade and sending it to the Trade List.
To require approval for trades in non-discretionary accounts, select Approval required for non-discretionary accounts on the Rebalancing System Settings page.
For more information, see Discretionary Account Setting.
The Approval required for custom strategies that override restrictions option in Rebalancing System Settings adds restriction override features to the trading workflow.
When enabled, a trader or trade approver will be required to provide a note when approving a trade that overrides a restriction.
For more information, see Security Restriction Overrides.
You can select individual accounts and place those trades on hold for future execution. To do this, select the trade and choose Hold Trades in the More Actions list.
For more information, see Trades on Hold.
You can add a trade note to any account or group you're viewing on the Rebalance Review by choosing Add Reason for Trade in the Actions list. This lets you add relevant trading documentation to the chosen account or accounts.
For more information, see Overview of Notes in Tamarac Trading.
If you need your rebalance data in bulk, choose Export to CSV in the Actions list. This generates a comma delimited CSV file you can download based on the columns showing on the page. If you'd like to see additional data points in this exported file, add those data points as columns to your view before exporting this file.
You can also export orders in bulk with an bulk report, which allows you to include a wide variety of data points, including not only information about rebalance data, but account and rebalancing details.
You can edit the account settings for individual or multiple accounts on this page. This can be done one of two ways:
Actions List.Select an account or accounts and choose Edit in the Actions list. This allows you to change account settings without navigating away from the page.
Account Name.Click on the account name to open the account settings for that account.
You can add an account note to any trade you're viewing on the page by adding the Notes column and using the icon to view and add account notes.
You can also choose Add Account Note in the Actions list to add a trading note to the account.
For more information, see Overview of Notes in Tamarac Trading.
If you'd like to include certain records to a working list, you can add or remove them using the Actions list.
For more information, see Using Working Lists.
To open some of the various filtering options on the Rebalance Review page, click the icon at the top right of the page.
